Most of our horses come from Amish, trainers, ranches, oil fields, Dealers, breeders and private sellers. We work incredibly hard to find horses that will excel in our program. We have found that horses who have worked on ranches or diverse programs have a great foundation and have seen more than just an arena! Each horse is put through our program and is graded on a strict pass or fail system. We refuse to "squeak" them by, and have absolutely no tolerance for dangerous behavior. Like our clients, we put ourselves, friends, family and loved ones on our sale horses. If we don't feel comfortable doing that, the horse will flunk out and go to a home searching for a project!
How long do you have your horses?
Each horse is different! Some horses stay from anywhere to a week or a year. We keep our horses until we feel they are ready to transition into their new home or until we find the perfect match for them. Our goal is never to move bodies as quickly as possible. Instead, we take every day to progress each horse a little more for their new owner. Okay, and MAYBE we keep a few around for our own fun!
Is this horse beginner safe?
Most of our horses are suitable for most riders. Please keep read each ad the whole way through, we do put what level rider we think will work best for that horse. However, we can not guarantee every rider will get along with your horse. It is important to keep in mind that horses and humans aren't perfect, and even the most well trained horse can have a bad day. We strongly urge first time owners to partake in lessons before purchasing and to always practice safe horsemanship. We are here to help, not judge. However, if we feel uncomfortable with your riding ability, we reserve the right to refuse a sale until we are comfortable that you and your new horse will BOTH be safe!
Do you do trials or leases?
To maintain the safety of our horses, we do not offer trials or leases, sorry!
Can we do a PPE?
We do our best to tell buyers of any health and soundness issues we find, however we don't have x-ray vision and we aren't vets. We are always as honest as possible, and will tell you of any lump, bump, or scrape we notice- that's a promise! You are welcome to PPE any of our horses you are interested in. However, we do NOT hold horses for PPE appointments. We have had too many people drag their feet or cancel their appointments, which is unfair to other buyers who have to wait!
Do you ship?
We don’t personally ship our horses, however we will be more then happy to help find you shipping anywhere in the US! We have used and swear by the following shippers when it comes to getting our new horses home safe!
Reefer's Hauling (Nation Wide) Shane and Dominique Reefer 570-854-2412 Reefers1516@gmail.com
Can I buy a horse sight unseen?
YES! We often sell horses to clients who have only seen them based off video. This is something we are very experienced with, and are happy to point you in the right direction when it comes to all the necessary things that need done. You'll find it to be a very easy and laid back experience! Give Kaley a call or send an email!
